Archdiocesan High Schools, Parochial Elementary Schools, and Schools of Special Education in the City of Philadelphia to Open on Two-Hour Delay on Monday, February 13, 2023
On Monday, February 13, 2023, the day after the Super Bowl, Archdiocesan high schools, parochial elementary schools, and schools of special education in the City of Philadelphia will open on a two-hour delay.
Archdiocesan high schools, parochial elementary schools, and schools of special education in the suburban counties normally follow the decision of their corresponding local public school district and submit their status independently.

In the event of a parade, the following will be in effect and has already been shared with all school administrators throughout the five-county Archdiocese.
- All City Elementary schools will be closed
- All suburban Elementary schools will make their own decision to close or remain open.
- All Archdiocesan high schools will be closed
- All Schools of Special Education will be closed.
