Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary to Host the 2026 Cardinals’ Forum
Topic: Pope Leo’s encyclical – Magnifica Humanitas
Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary will host the Cardinals’ Forum on Tuesday, August 25, 7:00 p.m.–8:30 p.m. at the Seminary’s campus in Lower Gwynedd. This year’s topic is Pope Leo’s recent encyclical, “Magnifica Humanitas: On Safeguarding the Human Person in the Time of Artificial Intelligence.”

Each of six Seminary faculty panelists will offer thoughts on a selected chapter of the encyclical and engage the audience in a discussion. The event is open to the public, with free admission.
Invited presenters on this year’s expanded panel include Kelly Anderson, S.S.L., Ph.D., Associate Professor of Sacred Scripture; Francesco Cesareo, Ph.D., Adjunct Faculty, History; Deacon Charles Lewis, M.A., Director of the School of Diaconal Formation; Father Thomas Dailey, O.S.F.S., S.T.D., the Cardinal Foley Chair of Social Communications; Nicholas Ogle, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Moral Theology; and John Haas, Ph.D., the Cardinal Krol Chair of Moral Theology.
The annual series was named for the first endowed professorships at the Seminary. Its purpose is to advance the academic formation of Seminary students and provide continuing education for the lay faithful about topics of contemporary concern in the Church.
