Most Reverend Keith J. Chylinski to Visit Pope John Paul II High School for the Celebration of All Souls’ Day Mass
Most Reverend Keith J. Chylinski, the Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia who oversees Catholic education as part of his pastoral and administrative responsibilities in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, will visit Pope John Paul II (PJP) High School in Royersford (Montgomery County) and celebrate All Souls’ Day Mass for the school community. All Souls’ Day is the commemoration of all the faithful departed.
Reverend Anthony Albanese, PJP’s School Chaplain, will concelebrate.
Monday, November 2, 2026
9:20 a.m.
Pope John Paul II High School
181 Rittenhouse Road
Royersford, PA 19468
PJP students will serve as altar servers, readers, and present the offertory gifts. Students will also provide liturgical music.
During Mass, PJP students, faculty, and staff members who are deceased as well as family members and loved ones of current students, faculty, and staff who passed away during the past year will be remembered in a special way. A memorial presentation will honor those individuals and will conclude with the Prayer for Eternal Rest.
In addition, Bishop Chylinski will dedicate and enthrone an image of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus created by members of the PJP community. This is a part of the yearlong Sacred Heart initiative through which all Catholic schools in the Archdiocese will enthrone an image of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Following Mass, Bishop will have the opportunity to meet with students and tour the school.
