A tenth anniversary celebration of the parish will follow.
Pope Francis will declare Blessed Teresa of Calcutta a saint on September 4th at the Vatican. Shortly after she died in 1997, Pope John Paul II waived the usual five year waiting period and allowed the opening of the process to declare her a saint. She was beatified in 2003.
