Ms. Annabel Dotzman, Associate Director of Educational Technology, PreK-12 for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Office of Catholic Education Selected as Founding Member of National Catholic Educational Association Google Educator Group for Catholic Educators

The National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) and Google recently announced the NCEA GEG Leaders for the 2026-2027 school year.

Ms. Annabel Dotzman, Associate Director of Educational Technology, PreK-12 for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Office of Catholic Education, has been selected as a founding member of the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) Google Educator Group (GEG) for Catholic Educators.

NCEA has partnered with Google to provide AI literacy training for Catholic school teachers K-12. This training has been created to assist educators to safely and thoughtfully use Google’s suite of AI tools including Gemini and NotebookLM.

Ms. Dotzman is one of thirteen leaders from around the country who will attend an in-person Google AI Educator Series this summer. Once completed, these individuals will lead professional development for their NCEA regions and work collaboratively to oversee the NCEA GEG.

Mr. Aaron Heintz, Director of Technology, PreK-12 for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Office of Catholic Education said, “Ms. Dotzman is a brilliant technologist and a world-class presenter. Her ability to translate cutting-edge educational tools into practical, impactful skills for teachers is exactly what makes this partnership between NCEA and Google Educators so vital for the future of education.” Heintz continued, “Ms. Dotzman empowers teachers to do more than just adopt new technology; she helps them master it to maximize their instructional impact and drive student-centered learning.”

Prior to joining the AoP Tech team in 2017 as a Technology Integration Coach PreK-12, Ms. Dotzman spent 8 years teaching in archdiocesan elementary schools. She is also a Google Certified Trainer and Level 1 & 2 Educator, Google Workspace Super Administrator, and ISTE Certified Educator.

Ms. Dotzman has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Telecommunications from Pennsylvania State University and Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Holy Family University. She holds Pennsylvania Certifications in Elementary Education K-6 and Technology Education PK-12. In addition, she has participated in postgraduate studies programs in Special Education at Holy Family University.
