Catholic Charities of Philadelphia’s Casa del Carmen to Host Mother’s Day Activities

Catholic Charities of Philadelphia’s Casa del Carmen will celebrate Mother’s Day with several activities for mothers and children in North Philadelphia.

Casa del Carmen’s Preschool Academy will host a Mother’s Day breakfast for school families.

Casa del Carmen’s Family Service Center will host a community baby shower for expectant mothers in the third trimester and mothers with children under six months old.

Nearly 90 school mothers and grandmothers will be in attendance for breakfast.

The outdoor baby shower will include food, raffles, and giveaways. Due to limited resources, assistance can only be extended to a pre-registered group.
