Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Catholic Charities Appeal Releases 2025 Annual Impact Report
The Catholic Church of Philadelphia announced today the release of the 2025 Catholic Charities Appeal (CCA) Impact Report, highlighting more than $8.4 million raised through the generosity of 22,297 donors. CCA is the single largest annual fundraising initiative for the Catholic Church of Philadelphia, benefiting hundreds of thousands of people throughout the five-county metropolitan area through dozens of charitable service organizations and ministries.
The 2025 Appeal raised $8,417,080 from 35,705 gifts in support of over 100 vital programs and ministries serving communities across the Catholic Church of Philadelphia, including Social Services; Special Education; Mission Parishes; Retired and Infirmed Priests; Cultural Ministries; and Life, Family, and Laity programs. These ministries provide hope and healing to individuals and families in need, reflecting God’s love through compassionate service to others.
Through the generosity of donors, the 2025 Appeal helped to provide:
- More than 2.4 million meals for individuals and families facing food insecurity;
- Support for 50 food cupboards, emergency food distribution sites, and community outreach locations throughout the region;
- Care and support for 133 retired and infirmed priests who have faithfully served the Church of Philadelphia;
- Pastoral and financial support for 22 Mission Parishes advancing missionary discipleship in local communities; and
- Tuition assistance for more than 140 students attending Archdiocesan Schools of Special Education.

Background on the Catholic Charities Appeal
The Catholic Charities Appeal (CCA) of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia is the Archdiocese’s largest annual fundraising effort, supporting more than 100 charitable ministries and programs serving individuals and families throughout the five-county metropolitan region. Each year, CCA continues its mission of Giving Hope to All by providing food, shelter, education, and compassionate care to those most in need. These efforts support Social Services; Special Education; Mission Parishes; Retired and Infirmed Priests; Cultural Ministries; and Life, Family, and Laity programs.
