Archdiocese of Philadelphia Announces Appointment of Andrea Hall as the New Director of the Office for Ministry with Young Adults
The Archdiocese of Philadelphia announced that Andrea Hall (née Mueller) has been appointed the new Director of the Office for Ministry with Young Adults effective today.
Ms. Hall previously served as Associate Director of the office for the past two and a half years under the leadership of Father Timothy Tarnacki, OSPPE. Father Tarnacki recently received a new pastoral assignment from his religious order, the Pauline Fathers, and will soon be serving as a pastor in Florida.
In her work, Ms. Hall has accompanied young adults throughout the Archdiocese with dedication, creativity, and a genuine love for Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church. Through her leadership and service, she has helped forge meaningful pathways for young adults to encounter Christ, grow in faith, and build authentic community.

She also has facilitated the success of various other ministries for young adults including the Young Adult Missionary Discipleship Initiative (YAMDI) formation program.
Ms. Hall is also an active member of the Philadelphia Chapter of Young Catholic Professionals (YCP). She is currently YCP’s Director of Fellowship and Service as well as its Director of Evangelization. Prior to her work with young adults, Ms. Hall was a resident service leader of Blessed Sarnelli Community, which ministers to the poor of Philadelphia’s Kensington section.
Ms. Hall earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in psychology from Saint Joseph’s University, where she was active in campus ministry.
