Archbishop Pérez Expresses Gratitude for Pope Leo’s Successful Surgery and Calls for Continued Prayers

Dear friends,

I learned with a grateful heart this afternoon that our Holy Father’s surgery was completed successfully and that the prognosis remains highly optimistic.

I ask all people throughout the Catholic Church of Philadelphia to express their love for Pope Leo through continued prayer for the intention of his health during his recovery. May God strengthen him and guide his care team through the intercession of Mary, Our Blessed Mother.
