Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez to Celebrate 20th Annual Hispanic Heritage Mass
2026 Theme: Citizens of Heaven
As part of its commemoration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia will host the 20th Annual Hispanic Heritage Mass. Most Reverend Nelson J. Pérez, Archbishop of Philadelphia, will be the principal celebrant. Most Reverend Christopher R. Cooke, the Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia who oversees ministry to the Hispanic Catholic community as part of his pastoral and administrative responsibilities, will deliver the homily.

The Hispanic Heritage Mass celebrates the heritage and rich diversity of the Hispanic Catholic community in the Philadelphia region. Participants are encouraged to dress in the traditional attire of their countries of origin. All are invited to attend.
The Mass is sponsored by the Archdiocesan Office for Hispanic Catholics.
